Every item featured at Always Fanciful is created by artist Sandi Thoman.   All aspects of each hand-crafted necklace, earrings, bracelet, eggs and gift boxes have my personal detailed attention beginning with searching across the world to find the raw materials.  I spend the time required to meticulously lay out unique styles of major stones, with accent pieces, to create classic styles that perfectly meld with the focus of the artwork. 

My  balance with style comes from years of free sketching and blending of colors from detailed painting.   I became interested in crafting 15 years ago when I was no longer able to pursue my chosen profession.  I soon fell into painting and found a natural ability that I hadn't known I had.  Through the years I have nutured that talent with classes and practice and spun it off into jewelry making as well.  I hope you enjoy viewing the results of my many hours of creating as much as I have had creating each item. 

As a native of Seattle I eventually went on to graduate from the University of Washington, have been married 22 years and have a son and daughter.  Fifteen years ago I move to a small mountain town in southern California and have been painting ever since.  I also enjoy scrapbooking, reading, museums, fine wine and am an avid Seattle Seahawk football fan.
